Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, Cumulus Broadcasting of Northwest Arkansas wants to be there for you. This page will provide NWA community resources and highlight local businesses, groups and organizations that are making efforts to help the community during this unprecedented time. Delivery, curbside pick-up, free supplies, medical screening and more. We ask for you, our listeners and followers, to submit local businesses, groups, and organizations’ efforts in the form below to be added to our resource lists. Daily updates will be made. Let’s do some good together.

We wish health and safety to Northwest Arkansas during this time. Cumulus Cares about you and our community!

All open JOANN locations have mask kits for adults and youth, and supplies are replenished daily. We encourage customers to bring their completed masks back to JOANN, and we will donate them to hospitals and healthcare facilities in need.

We’re using fabrics and materials that are recommended by those in the medical field, including 100% cotton, which is preferred for masks. While not medical grade, these items are acceptable per the CDC, as we are in a time of crisis.

The Food Bank is also coordinating directly with schools to eliminate any duplication of services to ensure an efficient and collaborative response to any food insecurity across Northwest Arkansas.

The Food Bank is placing orders for multiple truckloads of food to stock up in this time of need. To fund these purchases, the public is encouraged to make a financial gift to the Food Bank’s COVID-19 NWA Response Fund. Also Macadoodles has implemented a sanitization program to protect our customers and our associates. Macadoodles is implementing weekly sanitizing using an electrostatic sprayer that imparts a positive charge to a hospital-grade disinfectant (EPA certified) which then binds to everything in the store (all with a negative charge). The virus and bacteria killing ability stays active for 7-9 days. This is increasingly being used in schools, fitness clubs, in public transportation and other venues.

The product used is called Fresh15 (eliminates odors, stains, viruses, etc. in 15 minutes), an EPA-registered hospital grade disinfectant, cleaner, mold killer, and odor eliminator. Its formula contains a unique form of stabilized chlorine dioxide that is very effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and mold yet non-corrosive to treated articles and gentle enough to handle without causing skin irritation. It is ready to use with no mixing required—just spray, wipe, or fog right from the bottle.

We also have this product in our store. We now have Fresh15 available for purchase in 32oz. spray bottles.
