NWA Food Bank
The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank is working closely with local and state officials, Feeding America, and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance to make sure our response is fast, efficient, and effective. The Food Bank is also coordinating directly with schools to eliminate any duplication of services to ensure an efficient and collaborative response to any food insecurity across Northwest Arkansas.

The Food Bank is placing orders for multiple truckloads of food to stock up in this time of need. To fund these purchases, the public is encouraged to make a financial gift to the Food Bank’s COVID-19 NWA Response Fund. Donations can be made online through the COVID-19 NWA Response Fund giving page. 100% of all donations stay local.

Macadoodles

Also Macadoodles has implemented a sanitization program to protect our customers and our associates. Macadoodles is implementing weekly sanitizing using an electrostatic sprayer that imparts a positive charge to a hospital-grade disinfectant (EPA certified) which then binds to everything in the store (all with a negative charge). The virus and bacteria killing ability stays active for 7-9 days. This is increasingly being used in schools, fitness clubs, in public transportation and other venues.

The product used is called Fresh15 (eliminates odors, stains, viruses, etc. in 15 minutes), an EPA-registered hospital grade disinfectant, cleaner, mold killer, and odor eliminator. Its formula contains a unique form of stabilized chlorine dioxide that is very effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and mold yet non-corrosive to treated articles and gentle enough to handle without causing skin irritation. It is ready to use with no mixing required—just spray, wipe, or fog right from the bottle.

We also have this product in our store. We now have Fresh15 available for purchase in 32oz. spray bottles.
